A total of 21 students have been accepted into international undergraduate programs at several leading public universities in Indonesia. This achievement serves as an indicator of the improving quality of high school graduates in facing selection processes based on global standards. The universities admitting these students include Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Universitas Indonesia. These results are recorded as of Tuesday, March 14, 2026.

International programs at public universities are known for their highly competitive selection processes, which assess not only academic performance but also English proficiency, analytical skills, and students’ readiness to follow an internationally standardized curriculum. Therefore, the success of these 21 students reflects their preparedness to adapt to a competitive and globally oriented learning environment.

The school stated that this achievement is the result of a structured and continuous learning process. In addition to strengthening academic abilities, students are encouraged to develop critical thinking, communication skills, and independent learning habits. Similar to the Cambridge curriculum they have been studying, this approach is considered effective in preparing students for various university admission pathways, including international programs that demand higher standards.

One of the successful students is Hanif, who was accepted into the international undergraduate program at Institut Teknologi Bandung, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He shared that his achievement is closely linked to the study habits he developed at school, ranging from practicing international-standard questions to using English in daily school activities, which gradually improved his proficiency.

“Perhaps the trick is to aim for an SAT score above 1200 and an IELTS score of at least 7.0 with no band below 6.5, write a motivation letter with clear goals, and maintain consistent academic performance from Grade 10 to 12,” he explained. According to him, with a supportive learning environment, reaching these standards becomes more structured and achievable with confidence.

This perspective is also shared by Callysta, a student accepted into the IUP program at ITB, majoring in Electrical Engineering.

“It’s not enough to be a smart candidate; you also need to be a ‘fit’ candidate for IUP. This means having a story or personal experiences that align with your chosen major. It doesn’t always have to be scientific, but candidates should be able to draw clear meaning from their life experiences.”

Looking ahead, the school hopes that this achievement can be maintained and further improved. With a strong commitment to educational quality and character development, graduates are expected not only to be accepted into top universities but also to contribute on a global scale in their respective fields.

This success is also supported by the school’s intensive mentoring throughout the preparation process. Comprehensive guidance is provided, including mapping students’ interests and potential, practicing international-standard questions, and conducting English interview simulations. This approach helps students understand the selection process and boosts their confidence in facing each stage.

Meanwhile, the College Counseling Coordinator, Mr. Ponco, added that the school’s track record has also been a supporting factor in this achievement. He explained that each year, Kharisma Bangsa alumni are consistently accepted into the university, serving both as motivation for current students and as a credible reference for the university in identifying top candidates.

Parents also play an important role in this journey, particularly in creating a conducive learning environment at home. Moral support and consistent motivation strengthen students’ readiness, both academically and mentally. The synergy between school and parents becomes a key factor in producing high-achieving and competitive graduates.

This achievement also demonstrates that students of Kharisma Bangsa School have strong potential to compete on international pathways. International programs serve as a strategic bridge for students to experience global-standard education while opening wider opportunities for further studies or careers at the international level.

With the growing interest in international programs, the school remains committed to strengthening an adaptive and globally relevant learning system. Through curriculum innovation, enhanced language proficiency, and exposure to international experiences, it is hoped that more students will follow this path of success in the future.
