We would like to share another great news from Kharisma Bangsa!
Two of our high school students, Alfian Edgar Tjandra and Farrel Dwireswara Salim represented Indonesia in an international competition and they brought silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the 60th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in Bath, UK, July 11-22, 2019. They are also active members of the National Mathematics Olympiad team for Indonesia. By this contribution, the Indonesian Mathematics Olympiad Team ranked 14th out of 110 countries by winning 1 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medals.
IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) is one of the most prestigious mathematics olympiads in the world for high school students and it is held annually in different countries. The next IMO will be held in Russia. Farrel is still eligible to compete in the 2020 IMO. Kharisma Bangsa school is very proud and highly appreciative of this achievement, and we hope it will encourage our students to study more and achieve even more in the future. Congratulations!
